Inquiry into residential strata title insurance

The Assistant Treasurer and Minister for Financial Services and Superannuation, the Hon Bill Shorten, referred an inquiry into residential strata title insurance to the House of Representatives Standing Committee on Social Policy and Legal Affairs. This new inquiry follows on from the current inquiry into the operation of the insurance industry during disaster events.

The Committee invites you to make a submission which provides views on any or all of the terms of reference.

Submissions are sought by Monday, 16 January 2012. The Committee intends to table its report into residential strata title insurance in a timely manner after submissions have been received and evidence gathered in the first half of 2012.
