Consumers’ Federation of Australia (CFA) regularly call for expressions of interest to represent CFA on Standards Australia Technical Committees as part of the CFA Standards Project. We encourage you to register your interest below.
The work of CFA representatives results in better, more relevant standards and more desirable end products giving the Australian consumer greater confidence in the products, services and systems they use. Read more about the work of some of the committees in Standards Project News.
The role of volunteer representatives of CFA on committees is to advocate for the consumer interest to be taken into account, and for the standard to include acceptable requirements for consumer protection. Contact standards@consumeraction.org.au for more information and a specific role statement.
View CFA Policy on appointing Standards Representatives and Nomination Form.
