Public Comment on Draft Standards

Standards Australia encourages feedback from the public on draft standards. The public comment period is an important stage in the development of Australian Standards since it captures comments in order to address areas of concern.  Anyone who feels they have something to contribute to a draft standard is encouraged to make their comments on the Standards Australia website.

Standards Australia encourages views and input from a wide cross section of the public on a draft publication during the Public Comment stage. Create a free account when you login to Standards Australia Connect and browse in Drafts Open for Public Comment.

CFA regularly seeks skilled volunteers to represent CFA on Standards Australia Technical Committees. If you are interested in finding out more about becoming a CFA standards representative, please contact CFA’s Standards Coordinator at standards@consumeraction.org.au and/or register your interest.
