Standards Awards recognise those who have demonstrated outstanding service to Standards Australia and the community. They are presented to individuals and one committee that have made significant contributions to the development of standards.
Standards Australia Technical Committee CS-086 – Burning Behaviour – Textile Products, Floor Coverings and Furniture – received the Meritorious Committee Award for 2014. CFA has a representative on this committee which has been reviewing the standard to reduce fire hazard in children’s nightwear and limited day wear.
CFA congratulates all committee members and winners in all categories for their outstanding contribution and achievement in receiving this important honour.
The Standards Awards were presented at the Mid-Year Council meeting on Friday 23 May 2014.
