Mandatory origin labelling extended to meat products.

Government announcements suggest we’ll get a better food labelling system. But in the meantime the discredited DI% labels are still found on our food.

Country of origin labelling extended to unpackaged meat

Food Standards Australia New Zealand (FSANZ) has approved a proposal to extend country of origin labelling to unpackaged beef, sheep and chicken meat.
