The Commonwealth Consumer Affairs Advisory Committee has been asked to advise the Assistant Treasurer David Bradbury about consumer experiences with mobile apps.
CCAAAC is currently seeking submissions from the public and other stakeholders. An Issues Paper has been published to provide an overview of the matters to be examined as part of the CCAAC inquiry. The Issues Paper include an assessment of the current app markets in Australia, the adequacy of information disclosed to consumers and actions that can be taken to help improve consumer experiences.
Submission on the Issues Paper are due by 31 January 2013, however it is understood that late submissions will be accepted.
