Consumers International reconfirms commitment to product standards

Consumer groups from across the world have restated their commitment to work on international standards affecting consumer goods and services. Consumers International reported on the recent plenary meetingof the Consumer Policy Committee (COPOLCO) of the International Organisation for Standardisation (ISO) including the issues for the Product Safety Working Group over the next year.

The CFA has two positions on the  COPOLCO Mirror Committee (CMC) which develops the Australian policy position; and CFA representative Robyn Easton is the Co-Chair of the COPOLCO Working Group on Product Safety.
