National Volunteer Week 2024 invites everyone to discover the power of volunteering with the theme ‘Something for Everyone’. This special event provides an opportunity to highlight the important role of volunteers in our community and invites people not currently volunteering to give it a go. Thousands of activities will be held across the country to say thank you to the 6 million Australians who volunteer their time, find out more about the events being held in your area.
Consumers Federation of Australia (CFA) depends on the volunteers who represent CFA on Standards Australia Technical Committees, as part of the CFA Standards Project, and on a range of Government and Industry bodies. CFA would like to acknowledge their contribution and thank them for their generosity and important work.
As part of the Technical Committee, CFA Standards representatives are able to increase their knowledge, develop stronger networks and achieve personal satisfaction – volunteering is part of the wider concept of civic participation and giving time willingly for the common good provides benefits for the individual, the organisations to which you contribute and society as a whole.
