On 5 December 2015 we celebrate International Volunteer Day. First established by the United Nations thirty years ago, it’s a day for volunteers and volunteer-involving organisations to celebrate their efforts, to share their values, and to showcase the difference they make in their communities.

CFA thanks the valuable contribution made by CFA representatives who volunteer their time to put forward the consumer perspective on a range of committees and the CFA Standards Project.

On International Volunteer Day 2015, we not only celebrate volunteering in all its facets – but also pay special tribute to volunteers contributing to peace and development worldwide.

This year the UN challenge everyone to think about how they can make a difference, asking “Are you part of the change?”, “Will you take the challenge? “, “Are you ready?” Volunteer!
