A successful workshop was recently held for the CFA Representatives on Standards Australia Technical Committees. Representatives attended a networking dinner followed by the workshop on Monday 30 April. Catriona Lowe and Gerard Brody from Consumer Action Law Centre (CALC) made presentations on the current state of the CFA; role of consumer advocates; and consumer law and policy in Australia.
Other presentations were made by Standards Australia and CFA representatives. The facilitator addressed whole brain thinking and skills to harness strengths of group activity.
Feedback has been very positive: “it was very worthwhile, I got a lot out of it” and “Thanks again for the most worthwhile and helpful workshop I’ve attended in some time”.
