Consumers Federation Australia is constantly listening to consumer wants, interests and needs. As such, CFA believes that changes are needed to ensure that we are meeting the ever changing consumer landscape.
Recently, CFA made changes to the current policy on consumer representation. The changes are reflected within the document, available here.
The new policy statement, modified through a collaborative effort by the CFA Executive Committee indicates the updated nominations process which advocates for transparency and a fair nomination and appointment structure.
The policy provides a clear framework to organisations and advisory bodies seeking to nominate consumer representatives as well as imperative information to those wanting information on how they can fill an allocated position for CFA as a consumer representative.
