CFA Sydney Workshop – How to make friends and influence people in a new political landscape
Date and time: 27 February 2014
Venue: To be confirmed
After the success of our first workshop in Melbourne during late November, CFA is taking this absorbing and thought-provoking part-day event to Sydney. CFA is asking interested parties to hold the date of 27 February 2014 to attend the workshop, with more details to come in the new year.
About CFA’s Sydney Workshop
Changing governments can present consumer advocates with new challenges and opportunities, often requiring a strategic rethink of the approaches to core priorities to influence change.
This timely, three hour workshop sets out the basics – starting with mapping a general strategic approach, we outline steps that will help your organisation form valuable new relationships, and give you tips on how to frame issues in a way that speaks to decision makers in the new environment.
The workshop will be led by experienced consumer advocates including Teresa Corbin (CEO, Australian Communications Consumer Action Network) and Matt Levey (Director of Campaigns and Communication, CHOICE), with another panel member to be announced.
Tickets will be released in early January.
