Consumers’ Federation of Australia (CFA) is calling for expressions of interest for volunteer consumer representative positions on the following Standards Australia Technical Committees, as part of the CFA Standards Project.
Consumers are a key stakeholder group in the development of standards by making the product or service more market relevant; enhancing consumer confidence; addressing societal issues; and providing feedback from the point of view of the end user.
The work of CFA representatives results in better, more relevant standards and more desirable end products giving the Australian consumer greater confidence in the products, services and systems they use.
We have vacancies on the following committees. The role on each is to advocate for the consumer interest to be taken into account, and for the standard to include acceptable requirements for consumer protection.
Contact email@example.com for more information and a role statement.
