The ABA consumer outcomes group (COG) is a joint bank and consumer representative forum for discussing and responding to existing and emerging issues to improve consumer outcomes in retail banking. There are seven ABA member banks involved, and seven consumer representatives. The group meets formally on a quarterly basis and there are additional monthly meetings with ABA staff to further implement initiatives. Information about the group, and its terms of reference, can be found on the ABA website.
There are two vacancies for consumer representatives, and the CFA is seeking expressions of interest from experienced and emerging consumer advocates for these roles. CFA is particularly keen to ensure there is diversity of representation among the seven consumer representatives, so applications from diverse candidates are strongly welcomed. Please send your application to firstname.lastname@example.org, including a brief CV and two to three paragraph statement about your ability to represent the interests of retail banking consumers, by 13 December 2021.
